Last night’s walk got Michael into a seat (I should say seats, lest you think I sat on his lap the entire time) at the lovely Varscona to see The Oculist’s Holiday by Stewart Lemoine. What a show! Michael and I had no preconceived idea what the story was about, but both of us for…

Fringe Frange Frunge
Same 12 block walk around the neighbourhood, with a pit stop at Holy Trinity for the show A Final Whimsy. No stops tonight at the beer garden. Went to the show on me own, and was pleasantly surprised to find my hubby waiting for me outside when the show was over. We completed the walk…
Fine Fringe!
Sunday’s walk was once again through the neighbourhood. It was a longish walk, with three distinct pit stops. Pit stop 1: Holy Trinity Anglican Church to watch the Fringe show: John Denver: Rocky Mountain Memories. This is my third SWAK production, and the third time I’ve become a fan of a group I was indifferent…
Fabbo Fringe
Strolled through Fringe enroute to coffee. Had to stroll, it was a madhouse of humanity. Wandered along 82 Ave on the way home, stopped for cupcakes for tea, and candy to rot our teeth. A nice walk. The challenge today is attending a Fringe show at 10:30 p.m. I am usually asleep on the couch…
Fantastic Fringe
Took the 12 block walk, but added a loop through the Fringe to buy a green onion cake to share as our appetizer before dinner. Although a coolish night, the Fringe appeared to be well attended. The green onion cake was delicious.
Fringe!
Walked to Fringe. Watched the parade and all the crazy characters. Collected a handful of pamphlets. Had a beer, listened to intoxicated performers singing songs that they only knew the first few lines of, saw some transvestites that look a million times better than me in a dress, and then walked home. LOVE FRINGE!
Stomping Through the Neighbourhood
Did the 12 block circuit through the neighbourhood. Grumpy today, so stomped the route.
Commute Home
Took the 5 km direct route home. Involves steep hills and traffic, a bridge, and then a beautiful walk through the river valley and climb out up hills and stairs. Takes about 45 minutes, and is a perfect way to end the day.
Neighbourhood … Again!
Is one walk enough? No! Went whizzing around for a second walk this evening. This time with hubby. Spun through the neighbourhood and caught up on his day (earlier, I ranted for 20 minutes about my day… it was his turn).
Neighbourhood
12 block walk accomplished! Wandered around the neighbourhood. A 20 minute stroll. Two days done, 363 days to go! It’ll be a piece of cake! I’ll wear off the pieces of cake I ate!
