Same 12 block walk around the neighbourhood, with a pit stop at Holy Trinity for the show A Final Whimsy. No stops tonight at the beer garden. Went to the show on me own, and was pleasantly surprised to find my hubby waiting for me outside when the show was over. We completed the walk together.
During the walk I was describing the play, and ended up blubbering when I explained they sang Que Sera, Sera, which is a song my Mom sings all the time, and her Mom sang to her.
I don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t matter if I attend something funny, moody, gloomy, or violent, I always seem to get all teared up at the beginning of shows, or during a piece of music. When I was younger, I could bite my tongue and that would be the end of it, but now my eyes leak uncontrollably and I finally understand why Mom always walked around with Kleenex up her sleeve.
