Just finished reading a BBC article on the snow fall in the UK. In the article, the BBC (the BBC!!!) call it “white stuff” as do our hosts of CFRN news, and other media.

People, it is not white stuff. It is called snow. Imagine, if you will, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen on that train singing:

White stuff…
It won’t be long before we’ll all be there with white stuff
White stuff
I want to wash my hands, my face and hair with white stuff

White stuff
I long to clear a path and lift a spade of white stuff
White stuff
Oh, to see a great big man entirely made of white stuff

*shakes head* It’s just wrong. On so many levels.
