While my Mom and her consort, Ed, are cruising in the Mediterranean, not worrying about the price of grapes, I thought I would fill my Mom’s shoes and call you all excitedly, as she would, and point out that green grapes are on special at Safeway for $1.00 a pound.

Of course, this could be ridiculously expensive, as I rarely buy grapes (only the ones that have juice extracted, fermented, bottled and aged), but, I thought I should let you know.

Further, they are delicious. The skins pop nicely, slightly crisp, and the flavour is sweet and juicy. Just the way a grape should be (unless it has had the juice extracted, fermented, bottled and aged).
