    Cathy you are doing awesome with your walks!! I'm so impressed. Keep at it :)As an aside, twice in my life I have lost 60 lbs, by myself, no programs, no diets…both times, I walked. Started out every day, then about 5 times a week. Stopped walking…kept the weight off for a couple of years, then gained it back. Lessons learned: walk! keep walking! walk some more!

    Thank you for your encouragement Charlotte, I do appreciate it. I've always been a walker, but have never done it with consistency – it was either a one hour walk, every day, for several weeks, then nothing, for several months. So I have never seen any weight loss as a result of walking. I'm hoping by consistently walking each day, that I'll at least lose a pound or two (but I would be sooooo happy to have the success you had!).
